How to Claim Tokens from the Faucet

The TASHIBTC Testnet Faucet allows users to claim test tokens for test staking. This guide will walk you through the entire process of connecting your wallet, switching to the correct network, and claiming tokens successfully.

Prerequisites

  • MetaMask or a compatible Web3 wallet:

  • Core Testnet 2 added to your wallet (the faucet will assist if needed)

  • A supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Brave)

Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

  1. Visit the Core Testnet Faucet website.

  1. Click "Connect Wallet" and select MetaMask (or another Web3 wallet).

  2. Approve the connection request.

  3. Once connected, your wallet address will appear on the screen.

Step 2: Switch to Core Testnet 2

  1. Ensure your wallet is on Core Testnet 2.

  2. If prompted, click "Switch Network" and approve the request.

Step 3: Claim Your Test Tokens

  1. Click "Claim Tokens" and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

  2. Wait for the transaction to be processed.

  3. Click the transaction hash to view it on the blockchain explorer.

Step 4: Verify Tokens in MetaMask

  1. Open MetaMask and go to Assets.

  2. If tokens are not visible, click "Import Tokens".

  3. Enter the contract address from the faucet page or blockchain explorer and confirm.

Troubleshooting Issues

1️. Wallet Not Connecting?

  • Unlock MetaMask & refresh.

  • On Brave? Enable "Allow MetaMask" in settings.

  • Check gas (Test ETH) & increase limit if needed.

  • Still stuck? Check the explorer.

  • Import the token & verify the contract address.

Token Claim Limit? Yes, check the faucet page for cooldowns or limits.

Mainnet Use? No, these are testnet tokens for Core Testnet 2 only.

Out of Test Tokens? Wait for the cooldown, then claim again.
